Me and my sister are 18 and 23, were planning on moving to california in about five months. What would be a good place to live in. we would be renting, a house not an apartment, and would have around 1500 a month for rent. We wouldn't mind living in a smaller town but would also like somewhere where there is stuff to do at night, and a college to go to. Were looking for somewhere safe mostly not totally in the city but we have read a lot of reviews of places such as bakersfield saying theres "all meth heads" and "people are utterly unhygienic" so we would prefer a little more civilized than that. and suggestions and information on good areas would help were from the east coast so we don't know anything about areas in california. thankss!
